jessica hallock uneven, unpolished, sometimes cringily unaware––but “pressure” & “satan” are marvelous, nearly elliott smith/david bazan-level pop songs; “hell” has a perfect(ly delivered) hook (“went to sleep in hell, & when i woke up / i was still in hell”); “forest fire” hits hard. Favorite track: pressure.

in 2014, i was trying to make a go at music after a failed attempt at moving to portland, oregon. it was a really bad time for me, mentally, yet i convinced some friends to a. give me money, and b. let me make a record. i wasted everyone's time and money in the process and the record was never finished. it's 2018 now and things are better. i paid back all the money i wasted, and these songs have just been sitting on my computer at work, so here you go, internet. mostly unmixed. mostly unfinished.
